I am really happy at the positive participation of first year stdents in the sections of translations held on Sundays. Their participation will undoubtedly add much to their level of English proficiency. Special thanks are to be directed to Qamar, Muhammad, Reem, Raneem and Salah. Well done.

with all feelings of mutual happiness, hope, respect and pride, I welcome a new star who has just joined our department this year, namely my ex-student and present colleague Gameela Abdel Nasser. Gameela was one of my undergraduate students who proved to be a hard working student. She is now an instructor in our department. I encourage all my students to get in contact with her to know her more. she is another driving force in our department. Congratulations dear Gameela.
